Mielotxin was formed in 2004 to modernise the folk music of historical Navarre, now part of the Franco-Spanish Euro-region of Nouvelle Aquitaine-Euskadi-Navarre. The group explores the richness and cultural diversity of Navarre and Basque country with lyrics in both Basque and Spanish and a variety of instruments, dances, folk and original music.
