ArpaFil is the architecture section of the largest book fair in the Spanish-speaking world:
The Guadalajara lnternational Book Fair. The main event of ArpaFIL is the architecture contest
for students and young professionals. In 2023, the competition's theme was a housing
project in Guadalajara's downtown with a climate and heritage responsibility.
During the session, the contest winners will share their concepts and experiences, elaborating on their
projects. This satellite event aims to showcase and discuss young architects' ideas on housing in
metropolitan centres while considering contemporary cities' climate change and heritage challenges.
