Description
Traviata in Three Acts is a site-specific reimagining of Verdi’s opera staged across a residential block in Zhelezara, Skopje. Balconies, entrances, courtyards and shared spaces become the stage, while residents and artists shape the performance together. The project transforms opera into a neighbourhood experience where Violetta and Alfredo’s private drama meets collective life. Here, the father’s authority expands into the voice of the community, making social pressure public in shared space.
