Description
Democratic systems are undergoing profound transformations, impacted by technological change as well as by climate, societal and geopolitical shocks. This panel will consider how democratic systems across Europe can enhance their resilience by focusing on institutional preparedness, citizen agency, and deliberative, participatory practices. Speakers will examine how institutional robustness, a healthy information environment, and tools like the European Citizens’ Panels and the Citizens’ Engagement Platform can work together to reinforce trust.
