Description
This session will consider how cities, designers, and communities can work together to build water-resilient places that are both innovative and beautiful, building on the principles of the New European Bauhaus. This includes examining how flood prevention, water efficiency, nature-based solutions and circular water systems can be integrated from the earliest design stages, and how EU policies, funding and governance can support their large-scale deployment.
Speaker:
- Jessika Roswall - European Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience, and a Competitive Circular Economy
