Where have the women architects gone? For several centuries, women have been creating architectural works with passion and talent in a profession dominated by men. History seems to have forgotten them: or have they been deliberately erased?
Out of the Picture, by An. Ash Smolar, sets out in search of these women and their stories. Why and how were they pushed aside from the major spheres of architecture? What means and what forms of solidarity will they develop to reclaim their visibility?
Out of the Picture will be preceded by Solo, a Dance + City sequence.
The screening will conclude with a live Q&A featuring the film director.
