The European Youth Together action supports transnational partnerships for youth organisations aiming to reinforce the European dimension of their activities, enabling young people across Europe to set up joint projects, organise exchanges, and promote trainings. This action can contribute to New European Bauhaus related activities.

Exploiting the vision of New European Bauhaus and providing inclusive access, education and capacity building can provide multi-functional benefits and help transforming food systems especially in urban and peri-urban areas. The successful proposals will support the development of policies, business models and market conditions contributing to the sustainable, balanced and inclusive development of urban and peri-urban areas and to the empowerment and resilience of their communities, who can access, afford and choose healthier, nutritious and environmental-friendly food.

European cultural cooperation projects aim to foster cooperation between organisations active in the culture field, to increase the European dimension of creation and circulation of European artistic content as well as to encourage the development, experimentation, dissemination or application of new and innovative practices. European cooperation projects are also meant to contribute to the implementation of emerging EU policy initiatives in the field of culture such as the New European Bauhaus.

Proposals are expected to assess current and future (foresight) contribution of various forms of urban farming; compare the conditions under which various types of urban, peri-urban or rural farmers operate in order to identify the challenges that may justify targeted regulatory or policy initiatives; support the discussion on rationale for policy interventions in the EU context. Proposals should build links and capitalise on the results of past and ongoing relevant projects, e.g. Horizon 2020 European Forum on Urban Agriculture (EFUA) and the New European Bauhaus (NEB) in urban food system transformation.

Culture Moves Europe is the mobility scheme for artists and cultural professionals funded under Creative Europe and implemented by the Goethe-Institut. It provides individual mobility and residency grants, covering the sectors included in the CULTURE strand of Creative Europe: architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts, and visual arts. The Residency Action will contribute to the New European Bauhaus initiative through a dedicated objective – ‘To transform’. The Action will target organisations and individuals acting as residency hosts and registered as legal entities in all 40 Creative Europe countries.

Creative professionals are of crucial importance to society for their ability, among other things, to reframe complex challenges, create stronger and more cohesive communities, and apply critical thinking in our multifaceted society. Through the development of EIT labelled Master's programmes financed through this Call, students will be given the tools and skills necessary to advance and future proof the European culture and creative sectors and industries. In the spirit of the New European Bauhaus vision, these programmes will empower a new generation of socially conscious graduates with the skills and experience to foster societal transformation and economic development through creative thinking, cultural means and the arts.

Every year, DiscoverEU promotes activities around a certain theme. In 2022, the annual theme of DiscoverEU was linked to the New European Bauhaus initiative. The New European Bauhaus initiative will further be disseminated with DiscoverEU participants through the New European Bauhaus travel route to be published early 2023 on the European Youth Portal. DiscoverEU participants will be able to tailor their travel along the route and get inspired by the New European Bauhaus tangible outcomes in the cities on the route.

Proposals should support policymakers and professional development providers to identify effective actions and gaps in their systems, and better understanding how their investments could be improved. Proposals should include a lifelong learning perspective (early childhood education and care, school, vocational education and training and higher education, non-formal learning), and assess national, regional and local support for partnerships, for example between education institutions and arts and cultural heritage organisations. Proposals are expected to contribute to the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative by interacting with the NEB Community, NEBLab and other relevant actions of the NEB initiative through sharing information, best practice, and, where relevant, results.
