Orla Murphy MRIAI, is an Architect, Assistant Professor at UCD School of Architecture and Co-Director of UCD Centre for Irish Towns. Based in Westport, Co. Mayo, her research focuses on rural towns, community engagement and climate resilient design. She actively contributes to architectural education and research, emphasizing the role of architecture in addressing the climate crisis and is currently part of a team in UCD redesigning the architecture curriculum for climate change. Orla has been a member of the High-Level Round Table of the New European Bauhaus since its inception.
