Unbuilding Commons

‘Common Unbuilding’ connects the NEB agenda with the Unbuilding Group, an interdisciplinary network linking FH Erfurt, Hochschule München, TU Berlin, and UdK Berlin with vocational and cultural partners. Centered on a 110-year-old Otto Hetzer timber truss, students and craftspeople collaboratively test repair, adaptation, and circular construction methods. Through workshops, digital analysis, and hands-on fabrication, the project creates a temporary space for public exchange and (un)learning.
