Growing the future: Investing in affordable, desirable bio-based solutions

Europe has a dynamic ecosystem of bio-based start-ups but turning innovation into market-ready and industrial-scale solutions remains difficult. This panel will explore how NEB can help start-ups become scale-ups by combining de-risking finance, shared pilot and demonstration facilities, design-driven early adoption, and place-based projects. Bio-based solutions should scale in ways that are not only industrially and economically viable, but also affordable, trusted and desirable for people and communities.
