Ralph Dum holds a Ph.D. in quantum physics. He conducted research at JILA/NIST, US, Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, Oxford University,and the University of Innsbruck, among others. After joining the European Commission, he supprted Europe's first quantum computing programmes. His personal passion for the arts led him to initiate the S+T+ARTS Program and his current work levereges this combination of scientific expertise, public policy experience, and links to the art world.
