Delivering Affordable and Climate-Resilient Housing for All brings together cities, housing providers and architects around a central idea: only strong partnerships can turn climate ambition into concrete, affordable solutions on the ground. Framed within the New European Bauhaus and aligned with key EU housing and climate priorities, the conference positions social and affordable housing as critical infrastructure for both mitigation and adaptation. Drawing on city experiences and EU-funded initiatives, as well as contributions from UN-Habitat and UNEP, the programme will offer higi-level plenary sessions as well as hands-on parallel workshops covering spatial planning strategies, capacity building, building design and construction, and targeted support for those most affected by climate change, ultimately aiming to deliver practical guidance and scalable solutions for climate-resilient and affordable neighbourhoods across Europe.
