Urban Bloomers is an interdisciplinary research initiative led by the University of Florence, Italy, in collaboration with local public authorities and SMEs. It promotes awareness of urban regeneration and co-design, especially among young students. Through seminars, workshops, and citizen science at two middle schools in Florence, the project develops 3D-printed wall installations featuring stress-resistant plants to enhance biodiversity and climate adaptation. The project is funded by UNIFI EXTRA 2025.
