The Holz-21-region project initiates and strengthens regional wood-based value chains in the Thuringian Forest, by reconnecting people with nature and the cultural identity of wood, as well as by making the latest technologies available. This promotes a new sense of belonging through local cooperation, craftsmanship and sustainable innovation. By creating new jobs in structurally weak areas, priority is given to places and people with the greatest need, making NEB a reality.
