Climate Shelters and NEB-oriented Regeneration in Cities: Engaging Youth

The event introduces participants to urban micro-climate mitigation solutions and the role of culture and heritage in citizen science for adaptive regeneration actions. The event will raise awareness of urban overheat with a focus on behavioural change and inclusiveness. It will also promote a national survey targeted at young people, and launch a community of practice to collect and understand urban heat island multi-disciplinary data, co-design pilot shelters, and empower broader audiences.
