Climate Shelters and NEB-oriented Regeneration in Cities: Engaging Youth

The event deals with urban microclimate mitigation solutions and the role of culture and heritage in citizen science for adaptive regeneration actions. Main goals of the event include raising awareness on urban overheat with a focus on behavioural change and inclusiveness, promoting a national survey targeted to young people, and launching a community of practice to collect and understand urban heat island multidisciplinary data, co-design pilot shelters and empower broader audiences.
