LaVALLE Festival 2026: Alter-Ecologies – Artistic Research, Public Art, Participatory Practices and Urban Regeneration in the Aniene Valley

LaVALLE Festival 2026: Alter-Ecologies is a one-day conference exploring how artistic research, public art and community practices can contribute to the ecological and cultural regeneration of rural territories. Hosted in Licenza and Civitella di Licenza (Italy), the event brings together artists, researchers, institutions and local communities to reflect on landscape, environmental care and shared cultural heritage in the Aniene Valley, in line with the values of the New European Bauhaus.

The event is part of the LaVALLE Festival, organised in collaboration with the municipality of Licenza and local partners engaged in the Aniene River Contract, promoting cultural participation, ecological awareness and territorial cooperation.
