Hanna Bondar is a Ukrainian architect and politician with extensive experience in urban planning, public space development and cultural policy. She has served as a Member of Parliament since 2019, following a senior role in construction regulation and urban development in Ukraine. She has also worked at the Coordination Centre of the Office of the President of Ukraine, overseeing the construction of the National Memorial to the Heavenly Hundred Heroes. Before entering national politics, she held a series of leadership positions shaping Kyiv’s urban environment, including Acting City Architect and Deputy Chief of the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture in the Ukrainian capital. Her earlier career includes time as a partner in an architecture company, as well as advertising and editorial work in the field of design and architecture. She holds degrees from the Ukrainian National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, the National University of Construction and Architecture, and Lviv Polytechnic National University and is also the author of several books, including Seventy Three Remarkable Cases from the Life of the Architect Shchedrikov (2020).
