Dr. Werner Möller was co-founder of the Curatorial Workshop at the Bauhaus Dessau and Head of Collections. In the context of the IBA Urban Redevelopment Saxony-Anhalt 2010, he was jointly responsible for transforming a department store and accompanying “Dance Café at the Bauhaus” into the Bauhaus and Anhalt University Libraries, as well as a section of the industrial monument of the former Schultheiss-Patzenhofer brewery into the archives of the collections. His focus here was on the experimental development and establishment of sustainable participatory and collaborative processes at the interfaces of planning, use, design, sustainability and communication. Since 2021, he has been involved in the Saxony-Anhalt Project/New European Bauhaus on issues of cultural transformation and education amid structural change.
