MyChair students explored designing with living materials, at the intersection of architecture, ecology, and art, by designing a chair. Working with mycelium-based composites and recycled cardboard as substrate and lost formwork, they gained hands on experience in bio fabrication. Each team created a 1:2 prototype of the chair expressing circularity, resource transformation, and the integration of biological processes into design.
