BIOARC links agriculture and construction, developing high-performance bio-based building materials from agricultural by-products. Using bacteria-driven bio-mineralisation, BIOARC creates lightweight construction and insulation panels. The project uses regional resources, standardising production and testing performance in real settings, while building local value chains across European bioregions to support circular, resilient economies.
